Does anyone know of any lists for the Ostream Migrator(similar to
the ARlist)?
Also, I am having all kinds of problems because the migrator does not move
active links or filters with macros as server independent. I have been
trying to keep in touch with the techs at Ostream to find out when this
problem will be resolved. They know of the problem and last I heard they
were working on it. Well, now Remedy owns the product and I can't get in
contact with a tech or submit a ticket or find out the status of this
problem. I would like to know if anyone else has heard anything of a patch
that is going to be released, or another method instead of dialing
1-800-450-5000 and leaving a message for finding information.
Thanks,

Migrator, especially since the purchase. What version of Migrator are you
using? We just got a new patch which is version 2.02 dated 3/9/00. Not sure
what all it addresses yet.

So now I know there is a 2.02 patch out for the migrator, where can
I download it from? Also,
I have tried to discuss the migrators macro problem(server
independant macros) with a tech from Remedy, but they are just starting to
go to training on this product. I can't seem to get in touch with any of
the techs I used to speak with so I am not sure how to get any up to date
information on this. Does anyone know anything about it?

Ok,
So now I know there is a 2.02 patch out for the migrator, where can
I download it from? Also,
I have tried to discuss the migrators macro problem(server
independant macros) with a tech from Remedy, but they are just starting to
go to training on this product. I can't seem to get in touch with any of
the techs I used to speak with so I am not sure how to get any up to date
information on this. Does anyone know anything about it?

That seems unlikely to me. Hard to imagine that Remedy would pass up the
opportunity to charge you for something else. I would think that it will
continue to be a standalone application that will cost extra.
Thank you,

That would really stink... if we paid the 7K for it and now it is
built into
Remedy. I guess the only benefit for us would be that we wouldn't
have to
pay for additional support... but we know that's not going to
happen...
I had mail from Ostream regarding support... see below

Subject: Important Information Regarding Migrator Support
Dear Migrator Customer,
You may have heard recent news regarding Remedy's purchase of
Ostream
Software's developer group and software application, Ostream
Migrator, on
February 22, 2000. (Click here for Remedy's press
release on the Ostream
acquisition). As a result, Ostream Migrator will change its name to
"Remedy
Migrator" and will be fully supported through Remedy's Customer
Support
Services organization. This transfer of support services will take
effect
on Monday, March 20, 2000. Support contracts for all existing
supported
Migrator customers will transfer to Remedy at that point.
Once the transfer of support has taken effect, all new Migrator
support
issues will be handled through Remedy's Customer Support Services
organization. Those customers who may have open tickets still
logged with
Ostream's Support Group will continue to get resolution through your
initial
Ostream Support Group contact. Any open support tickets not closed
through
Ostream's Support Group by April 20, 2000, will be formally
transferred to
Remedy's Support Services organization and re-opened as a Remedy
Service
Request.
Customers located in the Americas, Asia, or the Pacific Rim may
contact
Remedy's Customer Support Services organization, Monday through
Friday, from
5:00 am to 5:00 pm, P.S.T. at: 1-925-469-4200. Customers located

Support
Services organization, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 5:00
pm, UK
time, at +44 1344 866 800. Remedy's Customer Support Services may
also be
contacted at mailto:support@remedy.com
Sales inquiries for additional server licenses or support renewals*
may be
directed to your Remedy sales representative or the Remedy Sales
Department
at: 1-925-469-4250. (*Please note that if you were invoiced by
Ostream
Software, prior to February 18, 2000, for renewal of your Migrator
Support
Contract, the payment will need to be made to Ostream Software.
Remedy will
honor your Migrator support contract renewal through Ostream and
will pick
up the contract renewals from that point forward).
In closing, the Migrator team would like to thank you for your
ongoing
feedback in helping to make Migrator an even more valuable product.
We look
forward to your continued feedback in the future.
Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you and your

All,
Does anyone know of any lists for the Ostream
Migrator(similar
to
the ARlist)?
Also, I am having all kinds of problems because the migrator does
not
move
active links or filters with macros as server independent. I have
been
trying to keep in touch with the techs at Ostream to find out when
this
problem will be resolved. They know of the problem and last I heard
they
were working on it. Well, now Remedy owns the product and I can't
get in
contact with a tech or submit a ticket or find out the status of
this
problem. I would like to know if anyone else has heard anything of
a
patch
that is going to be released, or another method instead of dialing
1-800-450-5000 and leaving a message for finding information.
