I've found what I think may be a bug in the User Tool bur Remedy Support
says they can't duplicate the problem. I was wondering the problem could be
duplicated in an environment other than mine...
Here's how to test for the 'bug':
Steps 4-6 are important for duplicating the problem. If a different row is
selected directly from the 'Results Table', the flag clears properly...
1. Open a form that has at least two records.
2. Perform a search that returns multiple records.
3. Verify that the change flag is not set on the record.
4. Use "Next" (Actions --> Next, or Ctrl+PgDn, or button by "Save") to view
the next record
5. Edit a field on the record. DO NOT SAVE!
6. Use "Previous" (Action --> Previous, or Ctrl+PgUp, or button by "Save")
to view the previous record. ANSWER "No" WHEN PROMPTED TO SAVE!
7. Observe that the new record is display with the change flag still set...
We use Windows 2000 Pro & NT 4.0 on our computers. I've tested on User Tool
versions 5.01.01, 5.01.02 (1249), and 5.01.02 (1280)...
