Hey Rick:
To my knowledge “none” as a Mid-tier option is a replacement for the implicit $NULL$ value in the user tool. I don’t know of a way to remove it as an option, but if you figure one out please let me know; I hate that value more than I can put into words.

Subject: Mid-tier selection list "none"
I just noticed that the Mid-tier appears to append "None" as a choice to all of my selection fields. If I view the attributes of any selection field in the admin tool I see the four choices that I set. However when I bring that form up in my browser via MT it always has that "none" tacked on the end. If I try to save a request after selecting none it rejects the modify saying that a required field cannot be set to null (all of my selection fields happen to be required fields).
I assume that this is just an artifact of the way the MT product works to convert forms into a web-accessible format via Java. Does anyone know a way around this? I previewed my new application via MT to my Director and one of the first things he requested was that I remove the value "none" from all the selection fields. So far I've had to tell him it can't be done.
