Is anyone of you experienced the issue of sending fax from Remedy?.

My request is that of send a fax automatically when a new record is
inserted into a Remedy-form. I have thought to use a filter which could
send an email to a fax-gateway that transform it into a fax.

Is it possible or is there any other way to do it?

Hi,

I have done this sort of an integration to one of my clients who has an
email to fax gateway. Very simple, use the notify action in the filter and
in the username type the email address Eg: "@". As
usual, fill in the other information in the notify action and set the
execute on conditions.

One thing that you would need to bear in mind is that, you would have to
have your Remedy e-mailbox configured for outbound fax on the fax server.
Otherwise it may not work.

You can use a tool called Tobit DAVID Faxware, and build Your Faxes in a a
folder add some Pix and borders to and well so it also looks nice.
Doen worked great..
