Dear Everyone,

We have an extensive network of call entries which let
different work groups transfer their calls to other work
groups. The workflow is pretty much the same for all
transfers. When a child call Status is changed to “Closed” a
filter sets the parent call Status to “Closed.” And it works
for all cases except one.

In the one problem case the parent Status field simply
doesn’t get updated. The filter log shows the “Push Fields”
getting “deferred to phase 2.” But when phase 2 comes around
it just says, “1: Push Fields. . .(filter name)>. . .End of filter processing (phase 2).” No
push happens. In transfers that work properly you see a push
field updating the parent Status field at that point in the
log.

Why would a push field get deferred to phase 2, but then not
happen?
