Hey folks,

I am a newbie to ARS5.x, so this may be an obvious question, but i haven't found the answer in the manual yet.

I have set some fields on a control panel to be display-only, read-only, and display as text. I populate them with Active Links based on user selections elsewhere on the screen. On 4.5.2, we didn't have the Display As Text option and in those days, it would just display the fields as greyed-out.

With 5.1.1, it is displaying them as regular fields. Of course, you can't change their contents - so it is read-only, but it isn't displaying as text either. Nor is it greyed-out.

I *am* opening this screen as a Dialog using a Window-Open active link from the main control panel. Before, I was using a macro to open this window. I don't know if that makes a difference. I've also tried doing a Window-Open active link and opening it as a Submit window (how it defaulted when I converted the active links), but that doesn't make sense for a display-only form.

Thoughts?
