All
I'm getting an Oracle (ORA-00600) error when I try to import data into the
Help Desk form. I can import to other forms with out incident. The Remedy
error is ARERR 552. Oracle is telling me the problem is our old hardware and
specifically that the disk that holds the RBS is most likely bad. We have
analyzed our disks and memory and there were no problems. This problem is
with our 24/7 production system. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Peter:

What is the complete error message from Oracle? An Oracle 600 error is a
general fault error and you need all of the text in order to troubleshoot
the problem.

Peter:

What are the parameters for the Roll Back segments available to the ARS
system. It could be possible that you are running out of rollbacks when
doing a large import. Also, Oracle is very sensitive to hardware problems
that may not show up using system diagnostics.
