Hi Rick
ARERR90 is normally a networking issue of some sort - the client is unable to connect to (or resolve) the server name. Normally the error gives the name of the host that it is trying to connect to which is a good place to start your troubleshooting.
For example, users may be connecting to a fully qualified server name like remserver.northrop.com with no problems, but the menus may be referring to the short hostname of remserver or an old/alternative hostname. If there is no DNS or hosts file entry for the short server name they may not be able to resolve this to an IP address and you will get the ARERR90 message when they try to use the menu.
To solve this type or problem you have a number of options:
* Create an entry for the short server name in the hosts file on each workstation
* Put an entry in your DNS server for the short host name
* Edit each affected menu in the Admin tool and make sure that it is defined using the servername that the users can resolve
This sort of problem is quite rare these days with version 4.5.x and 5.x servers, but can still occur in systems that have been upgraded from earlier versions where object definitions can contain hard-coded servername references instead of the generic @ used in the more recent versions, especially if you have migrated from one server to another.

Subject: Accessing various menus yields ARERROR 90...
**
User with client tool 4.05.00 accessing server with 4.05.01 patch 987.
When accessing various menus he rec's ARERROR 90.
All other functionality seems ok; where should I begin looking (I've already tried the error manual).
Thanks,
Rick
