we have a 5.0.1 server (on Solaris), and some users are still using
the Solaris 4.5.1 User Tool (I think there is no 4.5.2 version).
There is an interesting "feature" that makes it incompatible with the
miditer: the Solaris client sees the Result List (even if it's not
included in the view) and does an unqualified search when displaying a
ticket, which makes the client very, very slow.
The only workaround we found is making the result list visible only to
members of an ad hoc group, and keep people using the Solaris client
out of this group. Unfortunately, that means they cannot use the
midtier web interface, and this complicates the migration of users as
they can't test the web interface before switching to it.
