Is there anyone out there willing to provide an overview of moving work
ticket data from Heat to Remedy? I'm not sure where the data is in Heat,
and do you have to provide field mappings?

I would just do an Export, Map what you need in remedy with the
import tool.
If heat can do an Export Great, CSV.. IF it cannot, use the Database
export to a CSV format.
then import.. Mapping the old field names to what ever you Create in
Remedy..
If you are using HD created by remedy, then you will need to do the
mapping..
If you are using tts / ttl system, then just map what you wish..
This is just a drop of information to be helpful.

We made this 1999 when we merged data from a heatsystem into ARS. We used
Access betweeen Heat and ARS, manipulated the data with Access formulas in
order to get the right format, it all ended up in several files, imported to
ars via the Remedy Import tool.
