Remember too that Remedy was having trouble at the time. It's stock dipped
(if I remember correctly, about 50%), and it couldn't hold on to its sales
staff.

I don't think that Remedy Executives had a choice! Remedy was a publicly
traded company and with the price that Peregrine was offering - $1Billion+,
the Remedy Executives probably didn't have much of a say. The Board of
Directors had to do what looked best for the stockholders, which was to
sell. Or, they could have been facing stockholder ire and possible charges
of mismanagement worse than yours!

But sometimes, as with the Peregrine deal, a chocolate covering can hide a
big ball of le peu!!

Remedy's stock was among many at the time that dipped but it was over
$32 a share at the time of the sale which was higher than Peregrine's at
the time. It didn't though drop 50% it was much less than that.

Anyway we all know that the industry all around is in flux due to
corporate exec mismanagement (i.e Homestore.com...).

I have been clueing in many of my friends to the abundance of wealth to
be acquired in running an Alpaca Ranch. You know exactly from which end
they spit and which end they........
