I recently installed Mid-Tier on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 2, SQL 2000, and IIS5.

Some workstations that I tried I get the following error:

ARerr 9217
File Not Found

Then I other machines I login I get the Requester Console and the Support Console I click on one or the other and in the bottom left hand corner I get "Error on page."

Any suggestions would be apreciated.

Did you show the details of the error? If it is an Active Link manager error, there is a patch

I found that the only way to clear this problem was to do the following:

1. Delete the application from the Mid-Tier Admin Tool.
2. Remove all the files on the Mid-Tier server that correspond to the form(s).
3. Delete the web views from the Remedy Admin Tool.
4. Recreate the web views.

Although it is a bit brutal it did work.

That error is due to a deployment issue. I would turn on Debug logging in
the web tool and see what it says. You deployment is not happening, or
somefiles are not being properly created. This is probably due to some type
of corruption issue based in your forms. Have you used the Migrator tool
against this system?
