Wow! For MasterARSuite to be voted the "Best ARS-Related Third-Party Utility" by the 2200 members of the ARSList is the biggest award we at IT Masters could have. Over the past four years, our global team of MasterARSuite developers, support, and the rest of the staff have worked very hard to continually provide a valuable set of products and service to the Remedy developers and consultants. The members of this list represent the elite of this tight, worldwide community which is why, for IT Masters, your vote is the most coveted recognition of our work.
We want to congratulate all the nominees, winners and everyone who contributes their time and knowledge to the ARSList.
Watch this list for a soon-to-be-announced new addition to the Suite. We have tried to listen to your comments and suggestions. As usual, this list will be the first to see the big announcement.
Thank you again for all your support!
Regards,
Yury Mintskovsky

Subject: ARSlist 2002 MVP IS ...
Announcing Recipients of the ARSlist 2002 Awards
************************************************
This is the first time the ARSlist MVP can not be
awarded at the official, annual, RUG. Hopefully,
next year, we'll be able to attend an old-time,
Remedy RUG.
SO, if you will pause for a moment to attend the
2002 Virtual RUG...
This year, over 2,231 ARSlist subscribers were
eligible to nominate and cast votes for three
categories
1. Most Helpful Remedy/Peregrine Employee
2. Most Clever Answer
3. ARSlist MVP
At the suggestion of an ARSlist subscriber, two
new categories were nominated for software
1. Best ARS-Related Free Utility
2. Best Third-Party ARS-Related Utility
And Now, the 2002 ARSlist Awards!
This year, more than ever before, it is important
for the ARSlist to recognize those people who
have made major contributions to our Community.
Now, at the one-year anniversary of the "Last
RUG", the ARSlist, recognizes extraordinary
effort.
Last year Wall-Street backed an apparent earnings
super-star over the sure and steady performance
of Remedy Corporation. By boosting the value of
PRGN shares, investors made the backward-facing
acquisition possible. Now, towards the end (?) of
one heck-of-a roller-coaster ride, we know that
Remedy's honest books could never compete with
one hundred million imaginary dollars.
For riding in to town to save the 'damsel' from
Corporate-Desperados and the Monopolist of
Redmond, the 2002 ARSlist Award for "Sheer
Perseverance" goes to the once and future
president of Remedy Corporation,
Larry Garlick
While many of us have spent the last year holding
our collective-breadth between installments of
the 'Adventures of ARS in San Diego', the Remedy
engineers fulfilled many technical promises
made to the ARS Community. Despite the
organizational drama unfolding all around them,
Remedy published the most advanced, and web-enabled,
application development environment the world has
ever seen: the Action Request System, version 5.
For showing the ability to remain focused while
surrounded by chaos, the 2002 ARSlist Award for
"The Most Amazing Accomplishment" goes to the
Father of the Action Request System,
Doug Mueller
The "Best ARS-Related Free Utility" with the most
votes is
"ARSDoc" by Matt Reinfeldt
The Best ARS-Related Third-Party Utility with the
most votes is
"MasterARSuite" by IT Masters
The votes cast for the Most Helpful Employee were
usually accompanied with a story of effort above-
and-beyond-the-call of duty, usually when a
customer was in dire need. Unfortunately, there is
no way to give a vote added weight due to the
enthusiasm with which it was cast. The number of
nominees for this category indicates Remedy's
dedication to customer service.
The 2002 Nominees for Most Helpful Employee are
Valerie Ford
Jesse Kona
Bob Luben
Steve Seitz
The 2002 Most Helpful Employee award goes to
VALERI FORD, a Remedy employee at Peregrine.
The nominations for Most Clever Answer were
supposed to indicate the specific ARSlist POSTING
being nominated. Unfortunately, only the person
making the 'Most Clever Answer' was actually
nominated. The ARSlist subscribers used this
category to recognize the subscriber who may have
given at least one 'outstanding' posting. This is
in contrast to the MVP award where multiple
postings are needed.
The nominees for best ARSlist postings are
Matt Black
Jarl Groening
Chris Woyton
Patrick Zandi
The 2002 "Most Clever Answer" award goes to
Patrick Zandi
And now we turn to the ARSlist MVP award. The
winner of this award is recognized as the most
helpful subscriber to the ARSlist this past year.
In 2002 the person receiving this award has the
added honor of (finally) replacing last year's
winner as the 'Reining MVP' - a title invented by
the 2001 MVP recipient. I'm sure I speak for all
the ARSlist subscribers when I say "Gidd, it's
time to remove the crown" ;-)
The nominees for the 2002 ARSlist MVP Award are
Matt Black
Matt Reinfeldt (please note correct spelling)
Chris Woyton
The 2002 ARSlist MVP AWARD goes to
(drum roll, please)
Chris Woyton
Congratulations to all the nominees and winners.
And thank you all for subscribing to the ARSlist
