Hello-

Currently Im working on getting a TAB on a Page field Visible on a New ticket
creation and when on the Search Results Pane only.
I don't want the TAB visible when the Form is in Search Mode.

I have not been able to find a solution for this. Looking at the OPERATION Value
table its not apparent which value would be
set when the Form is in Search Results List. I have tried the following
Qualification's without success:

$OPERATION$ = "CREATE" OR $OPERATION$ = "SET"
$OPERATION$ != "QUERY"

Is there something which Im missing. Basically I want the ActiveLink to be able
to distiguish the difference between a Search form
and the Results list.

Is this possible?
Thanx!

Jose Leon

Just say $OPERATION$ = "QUERY" on Window Open and have a change field
action hide the Tab. Or if the tab is already hidden by default, say
$OPERATION$ != "QUERY" and have the change field make the Tab Visible on
Window open and Display.

Sorry, I missed one very important piece of the puzzle...
This TAB in the Page field needs to be Visible or Hidden based on the Return
"Execute On" command.

What I mean is, just like when you enter a Requester Name and press enter that
person's profile populates
on the HelpDesk form. I want to be able to Hide or unHide this TAB. What this
TAB holds is a table. The table
displays number of currently open ticket for the Requester. If there are NO open
tickets the TAB should
stay Hidden (since it's default property is Hidden). If the Requester does have
unresolved tickets the
TAB on the Page field will become Visible.

I have been able to do this properly on the ActiveLink when it's a New form. I
can also make it visible when
it's a Search form, but I don't want this option. The only thing Im missing is
being able to make the TAB
Visible in the Result's List view (Ex: the view where a Support Group can see
all their tickets).

The reason for this is that there is no need to have the table be Visible when
they are simply running normal
searches in the Search form.

Any ideas?
Jose Leon

Still, just add $OPERATION$ != "QUERY" in the AL that is working on the
New Form (CREATE). No need for any other $OPERATION$ values.

Inaddition, I you can make an AL fire on "Display" that shows the Tab in
the results list Form. No $OPERATION$ value is needed here since
"Display" is inherent to the Results list anyway.

Still, just add $OPERATION$ != "QUERY" in the AL that is working on the
New Form (CREATE). No need for any other $OPERATION$ values.
