Hi all,

Can anyone please tell me if Remedy/Peregrine supports ARWeb 4.0 in an ARS
5.0 environment? We have been running on ARS 4.5.2 / ARWeb 4.0 and want to
upgrade to ARS 5.x using ARWeb 4.0. We need time to develop all of the
custom forms for the midtier, but want the 5.0 functionality. From what I
have heard, this is not supported by Remedy?? If it is supported, I need a
release note to prove this to my customer.

I have read about the super patch a bit. Does this mean that ARWeb 4.0 is
now supported in a 5.01 environment? I thought the product was always
backward compatible??

Thanks in advance.

Mark,

Yes. We are running ARS 5.0.1 on the production server with ARWeb 4.0, and
have had no problems with the forms that were developed in 4.5.2. I don't
recommend creating new forms using 5.0 features with ARWeb 4.0.
