Hello,
I have the same problem (win 95, client 4.0.3) when I
install new software that change the files Msvcirt.dll
or Msvcrt.dll.
I solve it changing to the following versions:
Msvcirt.dll version 6.00.8168.0
Msvcrt.dll version 6.00.8397.0
I didn't detect any problem with the new software that
uses the early versions of those dll's.
