I'm with Tim. On Windows, at least, font display in ARUser only works
properly with the small fonts display setting. Printing forms in 4.x is
also a problem if you use ARFonts because this is a screen-only font.
Windows substitutes the Microsoft Sans Serif TTF font when printing.

Some MS Windows machines may be set for
large fonts, some for small.

I found that aruser must set fonts to my
development setting, exit aruser, then
restart it.
I still don't understand. Someone might.
I tell everyone using aruser under Windows
to use small fonts.
