Howdy, all...

I'm attempting to archive records from one server to another, and when
performing an export to ARX file, I get the following message:

"Attachments for the report are exported under C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\My Documents\HD31019156989. Include this directory
in the export file if you choose to import the data. (ARNOTE 1103)"

It's the "Include this directory in the export file if you choose to import
the data." statement that's throwing me off. How do you include a directory
in the export file? Anyone done this?

TIA,

-joe

Hi joe,

What happens is that if you have an attachment field in a form, when you
export to file any record of this , a directory is created under the same
directory where the file was exported!! This directory contains the
attachment itself!! So, if you want to import this file in another server
with the attachments, you?ll have to keep this directory and the arx file
together!!
