Is the Linux support mentioned a Linux server or a Linux client or both
for 5.1?

Hum.. Just my 2 cents....
I thought that 5.0.1 would be patches for 5.0.0 and not "new features"?
(According to the documented description that was posted about the "pool".)
I would think 5.1 would be the place that "new features" are added. (Not
that I'm suggesting that Peregrine needs to "hold off" to add the new
features. Rather, I would just like them to follow their own naming
standards. I like standards when they are used consistently. :)

Listers:
Jamie, has reminded me of several other "new" features.
A couple other items that will be included in the
5.0.1 release is hierarchical search and SQL menus.
Thanks for jogging my memory Jamie.

This is my first day back at the office, so I'll try to decrypt my notes and
answer some of the questions.
They said PKI would be supported, but I wasn't convinced. I think that will
be a "wait and see" feature.

Chris,
Yes, there was discussion of Help Desk 5. First off, if you have heavily
customized your application, you might want to think twice about the
upgrade. Second, the upgrade specifically adds web view functionality.
That's the major feature change. If you don't have a great requirement for
web views, you might want to stay with the 4.x product.

Linux (Red hat 7.2 on Intel) was to be support for ARS server, not the
client.
