Absolutely. I have changed many search menu's into sql menus simply for the
performance gain. To use a value from a selection list, keep in mind that
the value stored in the database is the number of the selection. And off
the top of my head, I think it doesn't read it right, so you have to do the
conversion. Which really shouldn't be that hard.
