ARS 5.0 Web-tier allows you to use (CSS) style sheets. If you are anticipating migration to the Web version then
there is definitely a way to substitute font styles. Not a lot of news here and perhaps not what you wanted to hear
but there it is.

Subject: ARS 4, 5: Substituting for AR Sans Serif Font
(Happy New Year, all!)
the Background:
Our entire Remedy custom application suite was developed, from version 2 up, using the AR Sans Serif font. This was suggested at the time to simplify creating views for different clients, and we found it worked nicely for different Windows versions, as well. Well, that was then . . . Now, in version 4.x and above, it is a nuisance, since it is not a printable font. Windows substitutes MS Sans Serif TTF font when trying to print from the "Print" icon on a Remedy form. Unfortunately, this font is wider, so you definitely don't achieve WYSIWYG!. BTW, This font is still "available" in the 5.0 Administrator, but Remedy had no suggestion for me for making it print . . .
the Problem:
I cannot find a font to substitute which will not require re-designing my 100+ forms and views. If they're not too wide they're too tall, or too small, or too ornate, etc.
the Question:
Has someone found a font which works reasonably well in forms originally designed around the AR Fonts?
