Hi. I am looking for a way to perform selective backups of records from Remedy tables.

I tried using ARCOPY but didn't find it much useful because it has a 100k limit for a record and it does not support attachments.

Anyone has an idea how to perform a task such as this (not dumping the entire database or even table, but a selective backup of records)?

Thanks for your attention,
Amit (first post! )

Amit,

I would probably write a Perl script (using ARSPerl) to do the backup.... it isn't that difficult to write up, and is quite flexible.
