Bleatings!
Anyone have any hints regarding my problem which follows?
I have a large, installed Remedy system which now requires additional features added. The major request is to design a "Super" ticket which can be used to link other tickets together. The users want to link tickets based on certain search criteria that they wish to specify. They also wish to be able to re-issue these search criteria from the Super ticket to see if any new tickets match the original search criteria. So, an action that is performed on the Super ticket then filters down to all linked (child?) tickets. This Super ticket should follow the same workflow as it's child tickets.
So, I am having a problem trying to figure out how to perform the initial search, and then save these search criteria for future searches. Also how to keep these child tickets linked is giving me the odd sleepless night. The other myriad of problems account for very short nails and caffeine abuse - so I won't trouble anyone with them yet....
