May or may not be related, but. . .I have an issue where my Search Menus will work only as a list box, not as a pop up menu. Just try changing your menus on the client machine to list box from pop up and see if they work.
BTW, never had this problem with the 4.5.1 client, only started since upgrading to 4.5.2.

OK, so you know it will probably be another easy one that everyone has to
learn about the hard way...
So I create a new form and decide to add an Assignee Group field so I can
autoassign the new requests to a group that will triage the new tickets and
assign them to someone. Later, I need the assignee or someone in the
assignee group to be able to reassign the group, if necessary, to a second
level support group. The first part works very well but I am having some
problems with the second part where a reassignment is needed. It seems to
work OK when I manual type in the new group. So it looks like the
permissions are set correctly (only someone in the assignee group can write
to the assignee field). But I have a Search menu that should drop down a
sublist of the Groups form (Qualification is Group Name LIKE "IT%") but the
menu doesn't drop. I've logged out of the User Tool, removed all of my
*.arf and *.arv files, then logged back in and tried again. The menu button
doesn't 'click'.
The menu is a Search menu on Form Group, Label Long Group Name, Value Group
Name. I've tried it with and without qualifications in case I had those
screwed up but that doesn't seem to be the problem.
I'm on ARS 4.0.3 over Oracle 8.1.6 and Solaris 2.6. UserTool 4.5.2 over
Win2KPro. I added indexes to my group form. Would that play a part?
