Good Day Listeners
I wonder if anyone has tried this before.
On the HPD:HelpDesk form, I am running a Mail template that basically pushes
information to the form for submission.
Now, on the mail template I have the Requester Login Name+ being sent
through, What I want for the system to do is basically when it submits this
fault, it sort of pushes "enter" by the Requester Login Name+ and gets all
the users information which will then populate the fields. So in other words
it is using all the existing workflow for the form to get the users
information.
For the life of my I cannot think of how to do this - has anyone tried this
before / or does anyone have any suggestions
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

This would have to be performed by one or more filters since active links
are not considered during submission via the email interface. Basically you
would duplicate the functionality of the active links that fire in the
Remedy client tool for populating the desired fields. Regards.

Dear ARSList'ers...
I have an easy question....I hope.
When you launch the client and get the login window....
On some of our PCs, the login name populates the user name field when Remedy
is launched. On other machines, you have to click on the down arrow and
select the name. I am getting repeated requests to make the user name field
autofill when the client is launched. Unfortunately...I don't know how. I
don't know what is different about some of our PCs then others. Is it in
the ar.ini settings? I have deleted the ar.ini file and recreated it..no
difference.
To clarify...I am not asking how to add the user name in the accounts...but
once it is in the accounts, how can you get it to automatically populate the
user name field in the login window when Remedy is launched. People don't
want to have to click on the down arrow and select it.
We run Win95 and Win2000 here.
Client 4.5.1, patch 956
Server 4.5.1, patch 995
Admin, 4.5.1, patch 968
HPUX 11.0
Sybase 12
Any ideas?
Thanks...Kim

Kim,
I don't know how to do what you asking but I see the same thing here. I
think it has to do with those users who are already logged into the notifier
and log into user. Users who are not logged into the notifier have to use
the dropdown box. Just my observations.

I am trying to create an new application in Administrator 4.05. Is

Thanks,
