#4082 - 03/18/99 10:13 AM "Manager" group- reserved somewhere?

I created a group called "Managers". I don't believe ARS has this name reserved
anywhere, but when I try to assign a user to that group, the group field
defaults back to "Public" - - - anyone know of problems with this name? No
problems with any other groups I've created...

I gave the Managers group an id of 10. I changed it to '12' and had no problem
after that. It seems that ARS has 0-7 reserved, so I thought I could add on
8,9,10,11 etc. but it seems to have a problem with "10" :|

Thanks for your pointer...

What's the group Id you gave to this group?
It seems to have a conflict between the public group and your "Manager"
group: that's maybe because the IDs are the same(Id=0).

Curious, is the Group ID the same in both Group and PeopleInformation or
PeopleGroup Schemas as applicable?

10 is a reserved field called Disposition, it is a core field that was
defined
prior to version 1.2
A little backwards compatibility ;-)
