Greetings fellow listers,

Is anyone aware of any incompatibility with ARS 4.5.1 and:

NT 4.0 SP 6.0a

or

SQL 7.0 SP 3

Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year to all!

Well, it does qualify it a bit, since I'm not. Anybody else running that?

Sharon

I am glad you asked that question. I have completed 2 new installations in
the past month and both have developed problems. Both are CRM installations
and both have several problems. Both have test systems - exact duplicates -
on SP5. Only the production systems are on SP6. I am still trying to run
down the anomalies on the systems, but it looks like there are some problems
with ARS 4.5.1 with SP6.

Hello,

I'm running ARS 4.5.1 with NT 4 SP 6a, Exchange Server 5.5 SP 3, and SQL
Server 7 SP 2. I haven't had any problems to speak of. I applied the
service packs before installing ARS 4.5.1, if that makes a difference.

I'm getting ready to apply Exchange SP 4 and SQL SP 3 within the next two
weeks, but I don't expect any problems here.

Jannie, I'd be interested in hearing what problems you are experiencing.

Sean:

When I installed the CRM package, some .dll files did not install at all on
one machine and on the other the executables for deleting through CRM does
not work well with the kernel. It is always the same type of error I get
that the kernel is not found or missing. I also get an error like DelAl.exe
is not found - it does the deletions, but gives the error for every record
that needs to be deleted. The DelAl is used frequently to delete all the
processes and that is when it happens most often. There are more strange
happenings, but I am still trying to get to the bottom of those.
