Color coding the Service Console Table?

Hi Listers,
I have 2 questions:
1) I would like to have an option to search for ALL a Requesters open tickets, including Helpdesk, Change Request and Tasks. Has anyone done this. Just wondering the best way to go about it. I would like my Users to be able to type in a Requesters name and get a list of ALL their open issues in one list.
2) Is there a way to color code, or italicize new entries on the Support Console Table? The way ours is currently set up, it is difficult to tell when something new comes in the table. Any suggestions?

Janice,
I just spoke to a Remedy tech this week regarding the
color-coding issue.
What version of the Administrator and User Tool are you running? The
4.5 version of the Administrator has the ability to color-code the
table in the console and the 4.5 User Tool can display it.
We're running 4.03 here and the tech did NOT recommend that we run
the 4.5 Administrator and User until we are ready to upgrade the
server to 4.5.

We are running 4.03 server using 4.5 clients. Colour amendments\disable
change flags are made using 4.5 admin tool, other development using 4.03
admin tool.
Those people I've spoken to in Remedy UK, our VAR, plus other users in the
UK have not raised any eyebrows, we certainly do not experience problems.

Jean,
I think you are referencing:
The changes to the table would be based on a Selection field like Status so
that when Status is say
New the color is green or Status is Closed it is blue and so on. So a
selection field MUST be in the
table that you want to set a row color, it can be visible or not depending
on your requirement.
I thought that 4.03 had this same functionality ?
