VER 4.5.1

After attaching a menu to a field, I could not create requests using the
related form anymore.

So I have removed the menu.

Now I get

..." ARWARN [70] One or more fields in this form reference character menus
that no longer exist - :ISD-Trouble-Ticket"

and cannot create a request.

How can I resolve this ?
Alex

Sounds like you deleted the menu, but didn't remove the menu setting
from the field itself. Open the field properties of the field that
you attached the menu to. Clear the menu in the attributes tab. If
you have $MENU$ in the pattern, delete that as well.

I have a menu that searches the USER form and shows all users within
a select set of groups. The problem is that each user can only see
his own entry, no others.

I enabled the USER form so that users can see the full set of users,
but only their names and logins, but that doesn't seem to enable them
to see the menu.

We're using ARS 4.0.3 on Solaris with users on NT.

Its the end of the millennium and my brain is all used up, please help!

Thanks. :)

Randy,

Need details on form and field permission changes you made on User.

Jim.

Someone has already helped me solve the problem.

It was a no brainer, which was difficult for a man
with no brain this morning. :)

Thanks for the offer.
