I hate to say it, my friend, but you're tilting against a windmill that
isn't going to budge. I'd advise you to not waste any more energy fighting
this, because you're probably not going to have any effect on a large
company's revenue producing mechanism.

It's a bit confusing that the support fee only gives us right to report bugs
and errors in the Remedyproducts, no help with development questions as long
the system works - but - new versions are free, this is as I can see what we
really pay for ?

I STRONGLY AGREE !!!!!!!

But, this generates $$$$$$$$$$ for Remedy and therefore not likely to
change.

I think if more of us go together and said NO WAY then things might change.

It is bad enough we are being taken for a ride with the price increases.
And this is not the first time - over the last couple of years prices have
gone up for licenses quite a bit.

To add insult to injury we pay for support for licenses which makes NO
SENSE. But, it comes down to the all mighty dollar.

Just my 2 cents.

Ok, If Support fee for lic. is support for ARsystem, here is my question.
If you company A buy ARS + 50 Lic. paying a lot more than Company B, which
bought ARS + 5 Licenses.
In reality Remedy users don't call Remedy support. In both cases, only
Remedy
Admin or Remedy developer call for support.
As Remedy Admin and developer, I see this: No matter how many lic. we have,
my
calls to get clarifications/doubts/help to Remedy Tech supoort doesn't
change.
Do you agree?
Thanks.
