Hi there Listeners

I dont know if anyone has asked this question before but here goes.
Is there a way to intigrate a Spell checker into Remedy for Character fields
and problem diary fields.
The reason that I ask is that I have been asked by management to look into
this as some operators are typing information with incorrect spelling and it
is causing some headache.

Cheers

It is possible through OLE to use the spell checker provided in microsoft
word. As far as the details of how to do this, I am unclear though.

Hope this gets you pointed in the right direction.

Brad,

ON the user form, search for all users, highlight them all and select Actions from the toolbar, modify all, then select Read license and save. That will save them all in one shot.

You should be able to do a list of all your users, then choose Modify All.
Make your change and save.

Hi there all

I am currently running HelpDesk 4 on my unix server and I am having a slow
reponse error. We are near completion of setting up the HelpDesk 4 module
and I have been getting the below error message on the Unix server.

remedy sendmail [1159]: unable to qualify my own domain name (remedy.) --
using short name
remedy sendmail [1171]: unalbe to qualify my own domain name (remedy.) --
using short name

Has any one had this problem before ??

Brad

You probably need to put a line in your sendmail.cf file (most likely found
in /etc or /etc/mail) that says:

Dj$w.your.domain.name

(substitute your domain name for "your.domain.name"). This should go after
the line that starts with "Cw". If you have Solaris, there will already be
a Dj$w line, but it is commented out with a "#". Restart sendmail (kill
-HUP ) and you should be ready to go.

If you have trouble, you can try emailing me your sendmail.cf file.

Good luck,
Julie
