Yes you can do it.
Once you are on the second form, B, there is nothing you can do there to
refresh table field on form A. What you need to do is set this up on form A.
After the active link on A that opens B with "open dialog", you will need to
have another active link (on the execute on condition) that will do a
refresh table field on the form on A. Then, after you come back from form B,
the "open dialog" active link completes and the next one that does refreshes
table field will fire.
If you want the refresh to happen only if user pressed "ok" on B, then you
will need to bring the information about what was pressed on B into a temp
field on A. Then, make your active link that does "refresh" to fire only if
this temp field is "ok". That way you avoid doing unnecessary refresh.
