Yes, Remedy uses the last access time to determine when 2 hours of idle
time has elapsed to release the Floating license, but there are a couple
of things that many throw you off when attempting to verify this...
1. Even if a floating user logs off, that license may not necessarily be
released until the 2 hour idle interval has been reached
2. If a floating user has polling turned on (and doesn't log off), the
license will never be released, since each poll will update the last
access time.
Just as an aside, you may as well set the timeout interval to one hour.
This will free up more licenses available for use with no nasty side
effects. If a user has been idle for an hour (and subsequently released),
if they perform another operation, they'll be assigned another floating
license token if one is available.
