I have logged a bug with Remedy on the following issue, but would like
to know if anyone has been having any known issues with the problem forms:

Installed ARS 4.0 and HelpDesk4.0 on NT Server 4.0 SP5, Oracle 8.0.5
(also does this with SQLSerever 7) and made no modifications to the forms,
active links or filters. I ran the Analyze tool against the fresh install
and generated errors on 13 different forms (Incompatible field types).
Remedy assures me that it is caused from unfinished workflow for future
releases and isn't affecting the way HelpDesk 4.0 functions. But I'm
not sure if that is the case.

I've been making various changes to Helpdesk systems, and have encountered
everything from faulty active links to Remedy Development server references
(all logged as bugs), and some funky behavior. Probably the strangest
was the addition of a hidden selection field that has two active links,
one for making the field visible based on a selection in another field
and the other for hiding the field if any other selection is made. I
tested the active links, and the one making the field visible worked
fine, but the other active link caused the field name only to be hidden,
and yet allowed the drop-down selections to be made. I flushed the cache
files, re-logged in several times as various users, and the problem persisted.
It was only after I made a selection in yet another selection field,
that things started working. According to Remedy, there are database
cache files that were causing this abnormality, and only after making
a selection in a different field did the database cache refresh itself.
Everything has worked fine since. So.....does anyone know how to flush
the database cache files to prevent abnormalities in workflow, while
developing????? I'm not a DBA, but know a little about databases and
cannot find anything about cache files. Thanks.
