This is purely a guess, but do you have a lot of macros ?
We have a large number of macros on a shared network drive, and
the 'tools' menu takes ages to respond.
If I remove the mapped network drive from the search path (under
tool... options) it responds like lighting.
I suspect that the list of macros is assembled when tools is
selected, rather than when you chose to run a macro, and that 3.2
did the latter.
