the display type to Date Only, the popup calendar disappears and a date is
inserted when I click one of the arrow buttons to advance the month or
year. So, to change from today's date to January 4th 2000, for example,
requires 4 clicks - popup the calendar, click the advance a month button,
popup the calendar again, click the 4th. A date in February would require 6
clicks, etc. If the control is set for date and time, this does not occur,
nor does it occur if the control is set to Time Only.

to have proper frame controls. Unlike the date/time version.

Two problems with this I have logged with Remedy.

1) For any of the three styles for date/time - if the default is $TIMESTAMP$
and one clicks the popup you get any error that it is bad format. It should
at least recognise the time keywords.

2) For you Unix types. If, like me, you have your desktop set for active
window tracking - ie focus follows the mouse. Then you can't use the date
only popup at all. It pops up but as soon as the mouse moves it goes and
puts current date into the field. This is why I suspect lack of frame
controls causing the problem.
