This happens to me occasionally too. If you delete all files ending in .ARF and
.ARV from under c:\program files\remedy\home, the user tool will be forced to
re-read them from the database next time it tries to access a given form.

Jason

problem is that your fields and their labels are messed up a little bit. If
your field is too narrow for your label, it becomes immovable. Don't forget
that in the 4.x admin tool, you have the option of stretching the vertical
space with that little grab-button in the middle of the field--that can mess
it up too. If you have selected multiple fields to move and even one of them
is stuck, all selected fields remain stuck.

The "solution," such as it is, is to find the bad field(s), then fiddle with
the sizing.

Best regards,
Fritz

Do you mean the arf and arv on the client machine or on the remedy server?

the User tool.
If that doesn't do it, delete any .arf and .arv files in your Home
directory.

then it would be becuase the User Tool has been run there. On the server, the
contents of those files should live in the Remedy database, not in files.

Don't take my word for it though. I would suggest if you're planning to delete
those file types on the server, make sure you have a backup, and do it outside
of core hours.
