I have a requirement to add a couple of fields to the a Helpdesk form audit log but can't find out how to do this. Has anyone managed to do this? Any advice much appreciated. I'm, using IM 7.1

Hi,

You have to change the Audit properties of the the fields you want to audit in the Incident form.

Hi Vincent,

OK. For instance I'd like to add the Status Reason field to the Audit log - so that service level managers can verify compliance by reviewing the instances were pending statuses are used and their associated reasons. By deafult, the status reason isn't being audited. I cannot change the field properties for the Status Reason field to switch auditing on because this field is linked to menu SYS:RSN:StatusReason-Q... and the field attributes/Audit Option is greyed out and set to "None".

Any ideas?

Rgds,
Karl

Hi,

The Status Reason field is a Display-Only field. You can find a hidden field which is called (if y remember correctly) Status_Reason_Hidden. You have to set the audit option on this field.
