In ITSM 6, we had out of the box email notifications to the requester / support staff. Does this go away in 7? I'm aware that we can send emails using the "Email System" function, but does the system automatically trigger an email to the requester when the ticket is submitted / modified (without having to create a new filter)?

Yes, if you have configured it correctly the emails are sent without any problem.

We are using ARS 7.0.01 patch 007 ITSM 7.0.02 patch 004.The remedy system is integrated with BEM and FMS. They are automated ticket generating system.

For each Incident and problem ticket, the OOB notifications (Group, Individual) are coming to NTE: SYS-NT process control form and then it is coming to AR System Email Messages and dispatching to the respective users from remedy.

The number of entries in the NTE: SYS-NT process control form is around 1000 per day. The dispatch of notifications from this form takes quite sometime. We want the dispatch of notification e-mails must happen instantly so that users get notification mail in reasonable time period. If very few request like 20 -40 are there then it will work perfectly...

Can the firing of request to the NTE: SYS-NT process control form is configured as per the requirement?
(Enable / disable for a particular company).

Please assist.

If I recall correctly, the notification OOB is set to Alert rather than email. Just set to email
