We are trying to make the arabic displayed work via the remedy mid tier. It works via the User tool but not the remedy mid - i.e. it displays funny characters.... Has anybody come across something similar and how did you resolve it?

Is your database and Remedy server configured for Unicode?

We experience the same problem with chinese characters.
If I look directly into the database the data is not correctly stored in UTF-8 format when using the user tool. Data stored using the Mid Tier is stored correctly.

Where you able to resolve this issue?
