Our company is looking to pick up a Knowledge Management software, and I recently read about BMC acquiring KM Experts. Is anyone currently using Remedy Knowledge Management or its KM Experts equivalent? If so, what are your thoughts on it and it's interaction with Remedy Help Desk.

We are running AR Server 6.3, Mid-Tier 6.3 and Help Desk 5.6.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Shane

Here's a weblink to a prerecorded demo of it. Select web events, click on recorded events and search and select the bmc remedy knowledge management listing

I realize that this discussion is years old, but...

We have been using the Remedy Knowledge Management software for 2 years, our first install being on the 6.3 platform.

Currently we are using RKM 7.x integrated with BMC's newest version of Remedy. We have almost 10,000 knowledge articles available, and have a couple of thousand authors/Subject Matter Experts contributing.

We have been working closely with BMC as the tool continues to evolve. They have been open to receiving feedback and suggestions from us, which we appreciate.

Is anyone else out there using this tool?

We are upgrading from Remedy 6.3 to 7.0 and implementing the RKM product as part of the upgrade. I'm new to knowledge management but will be administering the implementation for one of our internal support groups.
