Hi, people it is possible in the remedy application (ar system 6.3 ans help deks and change management) module, to log the time the user are connected ... i need to investigate witch one need a float and withc one need a fixed ...
i know i cna do a user log .. but not really easy to analyse that log

There are some tools that can analyze user logs. Look at http://www.rrr.se or in google \:\)

One other possiblity:
You can use the Remedy APIs to put an entry into a Datawarehouse every half hour, this can be queried and analysed. This is how we are currently doing it(still under testing but results seem 2 b quite gud)

Another solution is to enable server statistics and/or application statistics...

Then you can make some flashbords on license usage and/or export these data into excel or a datawarehouse...
