Job Description:

Our Remedy consultants are responsible for the hands-on ITSM v7 implementation, configuration, custom development and potential remote support of implemented systems. Depending on level, this role will also provide troubleshooting, design assistance, mentoring of other team members, process implementation and project management of Remedy implementations. This role will interact with on-site internal and client-facing teams for implementation delivery.

Candidate should demonstrate experience in the following areas:
• IT Operations
• Systems design and implementation
• Knowledge of business processes and how they are conveyed into applications
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Generating detailed architecture and system documentation

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of application systems design implementation experience with BMC Remedy
• At least 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook)
• Bachelors Degree required

Preferred Skills:
• Understanding of Remedy
o Action Request, Components ( i.e. workflow, forms, escalations, etc.), Administrator Tool, Integrating Remedy with other systems, Installation of one module of BMC Remedy out-of-box solution, ITSM v7, v6, or v5 experience).

• Combination of the following skills:
o ITIL Processes (Service Support/Service Delivery); preferably be ITIL Certified
o Discovery Systems design/implementation experience
o Monitoring Systems design/implementation experience
o CMDB/ITAM design/implementation experience
o IT Service Desk design/implementation experience
o BMC Remedy installation and configuration
• Business process development
• UNIX Administration
• Windows/NT Administration
• Database Administration
