When working on a page generated by the mid-tier and you click the Home button on the menu bar is there away to force the current IE browser to go to the homepage. Currently another IE window opens up. This is occuring on Mid-Tier 7.0.1 but it also happens on the 6.3 Mid-Tier. Any thoughts or if I need to clarify the problem please let me know.

You can close the current window and then redirect to homepage(in same Active Link) which gives the same effect as opening home page in the same IE window.

The home button I am refering to is the button that is built into Remedy Mid-Tier. Is there anyway to modify how that button operates?

You can disable the Home page button(for midtier) and add a new Button with the same name(and appearance) and add workflow to redirect to homepage on click of that button and add another action to close window(in same AL).
