I need to use the LOSE FOCUS action, but I don't want it to work when you move the mouse cursor from one field to another. It should work only on the 'Tab' button

Is there any way of doing this?

Not possible. If switching from field A to B is allowed over moues and not allowed over TAB i guess you have no chance.

I need to be able to use the Tab button to switch from field a to b, but this option should be disabled when using a mouse.

I think this is not possible, but still hoping if there is any work around that someone would have tried.

Just cover field B with a text field, with empty text and the attribute Background Mode: Tranparent
