I have installed the Mid Tier 7.0. But I could not login as Demo at the login screen. I got the error message.
" The following error(s) occurred while trying to process your request: ARERR [623]
Authentication failed " when login in to the Mid Tier 7.0.

My webserver is Tomcat 5.5.

Both my username (Demo) and password are correct.

However, I can login successfully (as Demo) into Remedy Admin 7.0 and Remedy User 7.0 with the same password.

Could someone help me.

Are you sure your General settings for the mid-tier are correct? as in, did you configure any server in the server settings.. or do you use a servername in your URL. If so, please paste the context here.

Kind regards.

I have Mid-Tier 7.0p1 and have a problem with login after session timeout. I must release license in Admin or login under different user and then can login again with "bad" user

I'm having a similar problem with the Mid Tier 7.0 with a different webserver. One thing we've discovered is that if someone is currently logged into the client that they cannot log into the Mid Tier. If they shut down all the clients they have open then they can login fine.

Since getting Techs to log out before they go off into the field to fix things is vitually impossible, we're currently trying to figure out a way to remotely kill their clients, or kill their session in Remedy (as one can do manually through the ADmin tool with the "Release User" function.)

If anyone has an answer to that (or a way to fix this bug regarding permission denied when a client is left open) then please let me know.

Lonnie
