Our Infrastructure Services Division
This division focuses on the on-going development and operation of the core
infrastructure systems that facilitate eHealth. Our Production department
manages the live operations of our technology, from Data Centre facilities
to Technical Support and Service Delivery. You'll be a member of a tight-
knit and dynamic team as we operate Ontario's eHealth infrastructure. We
work with interesting technology, supporting a highly available and highly
secure environment with no down-time.

Our Support Solutions team works to build and operate the infrastructure
which enables the Agency to provide efficient support solutions. We manage
enterprise wide support solutions, ensuring that staff are able to provide
Operational support to the Agency's clients and users.

You are, without question, a Remedy expert, known for your intricate
knowledge of how Remedy works, what it can do, and how to make everything
happen. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

Lead the on-going planning, design, development and implementation of
Remedy for our Development, Staging and Production environments.
Liaise with colleagues working on other technology projects, ensuring
appropriate integrations and functionality.
Take the lead for ad-hoc problem resolution teams, ensuring appropriate
resolution for all related problems.
Translate business requirements into functional & technology requirements
and design & development plans.
Ensure the appropriate development of accurate business rules and workflow
within Remedy.
Your Skills Make the Difference

Your reputation as a Remedy expert preceeds you. The specifics in your
background support your reputation. You have:

Successully developed a Remedy system using Remedy Action Request System
(ARS).
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success planning, designing,
developing, implementing, and managing Remedy ARS and ITSM modules
(Helpdesk, Asset, Change, Problem, SLA, Dashboards).
Strong knowledge of the Remedy architecture including the Remedy Mid-Tier
web server.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional &
technology requirements and design & development plans.
Proven success with the development of business rules and workflow within
Remedy. Related administration skills are required.
A demonstrated solid understanding of architectural principles, software
development lifecycle(s) and other related methodologies.
Strong Microsoft SQL DBMS skills.
Experience integrating with OSS/NMS systems is a definite asset.
Experience integrating with reporting infrastructures e.g. Cognos/Crystal
is a definite asset.
Knowledge of network topology, protocols, security considerations, thin-
client technologies and systems management/monitoring tools.
Remedy Approved Consultant (RAC) certification is an asset.
ITSM/ITIL certification is an asset.
