Look in the the file called SOURCE_ME in the $ARPATH/remedy/bin directory.
Make sure all pathes are set correctly (especially xfilesearchpath - or
something like that. Then source it .... then start the client using
aruser -display hostname:0.0 &

We put this into a startup script for the users and everything works fine
now.
