Yes, I am on 5.1.2.
So it seems that's impossible to change the color of just a single cell. That's a pity.

Remember displaying Column as HTML is a v6x function. If you are using an ARS 5x server with the Mid-Tier 6.3 then this might not be an option for you.

Joerg,

I have not tried this... but I would think it should be possible to get the job done in this way....

Set the column to be displayed as "HTML" and format the data as HTML.
Then you would have the ability to, for example, create a table in a single cell and add as much CSS/fonts/GUI stuff as you choose to stuff into that data.

I am sure that is not as simple as what you want it to be. However, there are few GUI things that require almost no effort and are completely flexible at the same time. :)

On the other hand... it might be possible to have a JavaScript function loop over the ARS table field and "edit on the fly" the column's HTML representation too. However, the JavaScript would likely be very version specific and require a fair deal of maintenance over time. ( Not to mention that you also need to call this function whenever the field is refreshed too. Which may not be a trivial task to figure out how to do.)
