** That's how we do it with my current employer. We are about to undo it though since applications can be listed as assets and multiple users are required. Servers, db's and many other assets have multiple users with accounts. It is the pc's that tend to have one user in our environment.
We use active links instead of filters, though.

Greetings and Happy New Year,
I have been asked to allow assets to have more than one person associated to
them as long as they are in a different role and never two individuals as
"Users" of the same asset. So:
User: Person1
Owner: Person2/Person 3
Manager: Person3/Person 5
I have created a filter that on submit of an asset and if the the Role is
"User" captures the asset id and the role and puts into a temporary field.
Then I have second filter that has the following qualification:
'zTempAssetIdUser' != $NULL$ AND 'Role' = "User" to display a message
saying that the asset already has an individual associated to it as "User".
It seems to work but I wonder if any of you has a better suggestion on how
to do this type of "prevent dups" functionality...thanks!
Juan
